Stop hiring Scrum Masters who don't lead. Start matching them to your team's DNA.
I’ve worked as a Scrum Master and team coach across a range of organizations, industries, and team cultures. I hold certifications, yes—but that’s not what made me effective. What made me fit was my ability to read the room, decipher the emotional and operational state of a team, and show up with the leadership style they actually needed. That insight is what led me to create Scrum Master Fit™—a consulting service that helps organizations match the right kind of Scrum Master to the team’s current reality. Not based on titles or strategic aspirations alone, but on what it truly takes to help a team grow, align, and deliver.I work with hiring managers, transformation leaders ,Agile Coaches, Engineering and Product managers as well as HR business partners. I don't just assess team dynamics. I interpret readiness and uncover leadership opportunities, and help match the right Scrum Masters to the team's current reality. Not just one who runs ceremonies—one that catalyzes change. This isn't about checking boxes or chasing credentials. It's about understanding what it really takes to help a team grow, align and deliver —and then pairing them with a leader who fits.If you’re building Agile teams and want to lead with clarity and chemistry, let’s talk. I’ll help you assess, align, and accelerate.
Real-World Experience Across Diverse Teams
– I’ve served as a Senior Scrum Master and team coach in organizations in various enterprise environments. I’ve seen Agile succeed—and stall—and I know what makes the difference.
More Than Certifications—It’s Intuition and Fit
– Yes, I’m certified. But what made me effective wasn’t the credentials—it was my ability to read a team’s emotional and operational state and show up with the leadership style they actually needed.
A Framework That Prioritizes Team Readiness
– I created Scrum Master Fit™ to help organizations stop hiring based on strategic goals alone and start hiring based on what it really takes to achieve them. My methodology blends behavioral analysis, Agile maturity models, and leadership archetypes to match the right leader to the right team.
A Human-Centered, Outcome-Driven Approach
– I don’t just assess team dynamics—I interpret them. I help leaders understand where their teams are, what kind of guidance they need, and how to align hiring decisions with real team growth.
A Partner in Building Teams That Thrive
– Whether you’re scaling Agile or trying to fix a team that’s stuck, I bring clarity, chemistry, and strategic alignment to every engagement.
CSM: Certified Scrum Master
ICP-ACC: Agile Coach Certification
SSM: SAFe 6 Scrum Master Certified
I’ve partnered with cross-functional teams across enterprise environments to do more than just implement Agile frameworks—I’ve helped them find their rhythm. My approach begins with assessing team readiness: understanding delivery maturity, communication dynamics, and leadership gaps. From there, I show up as the leader they need—whether that means coaching through complexity, facilitating strategic planning, or removing systemic impediments.
Assessment with Intention: I evaluate team structure, behavioral dynamics, and delivery bottlenecks to uncover what’s really holding execution back.
Leadership by Design: I adapt my style to meet the team where they are—whether they need a coach, a catalyst, or a calm anchor during transformation.
Alignment that Sticks: I facilitate planning sessions that align SDLC processes with business risk tolerance, boosting stakeholder confidence and transparency.
Acceleration with Integrity: By implementing Agile best practices and optimizing workflows, I’ve helped teams increase execution by 20%—without burning out their people.
From critical vulnerability remediation to enterprise-wide governance enhancements, I’ve guided teams through initiatives that not only satisfied regulatory mandates but also strengthened morale, deepened engagement, and built lasting trust. My approach blends strategic oversight with emotional intelligence—ensuring that delivery isn’t just compliant, but connected. Because when leadership is intentional and aligned, teams don’t just execute—they evolve.
1. "Gillette managed our Scrums for our MicroServices and Application Development. Our team was 100% Remote and she managed to provide that additional teamwork boost to all of our Scrum ceremonies. We finished under-budget and ahead of schedule with Gillette's due diligence and follow-through, and our team ended up being very cohesive, and we all trusted each other to get the job done.I can't speak any more highly of Gillette. Great Leadership!!!!!!!!"
~Joel W., Principal Engineer
2. "Gillette was my first scrum master at Wells Fargo, and I wish she was my current one. During my time working with Gillette, she was always diligent in her scrum master duties and committed to ensuring the success and well-being of the team. She also made work fun, which is an immensely underrated talent. Her interpersonal skills and glowing personality can raise morale and bring people closer together."*
~Jackson L., Senior Software Engineer
3. "I had a few excellent Scrum Masters at Wells Fargo but Gillette was by far the best. She brought much-needed energy that interrupted the monotony of your typical 9-5 job. Through her transparency about who she was as a person and the nuggets of wisdom she provided during daily standup, she was able to effectively keep team morale high, which is such an underrated and valuable skill for a Scrum Master.Outside of the fun that the team had in talking with Gillette daily, when needed, she advocated for her team with senior leadership and helped protect our sprints. This, in turn, protected our sprint velocity and productivity. Like a mother cub protecting her young, Gillette would shield the team from unnecessary ambiguity on projects, allowing us to continue to deliver high-quality work consistently.Working with Gillette was and still is a blessing to me as I've brought her energy to other roles myself. If the opportunity to work with Gillette presented itself again, I would jump at the opportunity!"
~Sosa E., Full Stack Developer
4. "I had the pleasure of working with Gillette from 2000 to 2004 in the Product Education department of Toyota Motor Sales USA. We were primarily responsible for sales training for the 1,200 Toyota dealers in the U.S.
This was a period of significant transition in automotive retailing, with expanding access to web resources inside retail stores, first introduction of handheld devices (Palm Pilot, Blackberry) to the sales force, and our initial efforts at interactive online owners manuals for customers.Gillette led a number of technology projects for us as project lead: she planned & documented development processes, interfaced with our corporate IT department and with external service providers, led change-management activities throughout the wholesale chain, and followed up on technical issues with the field.Gillette's biggest win was the successful creating and implementation of a dynamic digital owner's manual for the 2004 Prius hybrid vehicle. As a product with strong appeal to tech-savvy buyers, we wanted to provide Prius owners with a more useful manual than the usual 500+ page paper document. Gillette led the development of a dynamic owners manual called "iGuide" that was delivered on CD-ROM and via the web.The "iGuide" project earned broad recognition within the auto industry as one of the first interactive programs delivered directly to auto buyers, and was eventually extended to additional high-volume models over coming years."
